NOMINATIONS 5 Five members are now a part of the Senate, reducing our nomination numbers to just 17. However, some of you elected not to use your nomination power tonight, and have automatically nominated yourself for Exile. Recall that you can post your nominations at any time after Imprisonment ~ you may want to post it early to avoid missing the deadline!
Someone earned back their vote after chatting up the most players and their nomination was not included tonight. A complete breakdown of the nomination tallies, who voted for who, and penalties, will be posted in a second post below this one.
Live Exile will be at 10:00 PM CDT on Tuesday ~ as always, you are encouraged to lobby the Senate to vote how you want. In the event that the Senate ties, the Senate will revote. If that ties, Owen, as the ex-Dictator, will cast the tiebreaking vote.
Let's get to the nominations:
SENATE VOTERS: The nominees are...
in no particular order... Gertrude. Rondak. Chance. Magalie. Nominated: Gertrude, Rondak, Chance, and Magalie, you have been nominated for Exile. One of you four will be Exiled on Tuesday night.
It is now time for everyone to discuss with the Senate who they wish to be Exiled. Senate - please cast your vote as normal in your confessional before the 10:00 PM CDT Tuesday deadline. Please also come to the Exile chat if you can, where you will announce your decision live and personally Exile one of the three nomination candidates.
I will see you there!

Just incase I'm not around much today, I'm voting for Magalie. Looking forward to seeing what random role she throws on me. I know it's been said that she's not worth a lynch and that she should just be ejected from the game. Firstly, if you know Sam, you know he's sitting back giggling at you for thinking that he's going to replace a player that is causing drama. Sam loves good mafia gameplay, but he also loves his drama. So as long as Magalie is active and not breaking any rules, he is likely loving every second of her batshit crazy routine. Secondly, SHE COULD STILL BE A SPY. What right does Sam have ejecting a possible spy that hasn't gone inactive? Although she is entertaining, she is a huge distraction and will became bigger and bigger of a liability as the game goes on if she is to stay. When she answered my questions in episode 4, she tried to make it out like she was misunderstood... yet after a few days of being somewhat normal, she's reverted back to being a lunatic. Some would say she's too crazy to be a spy (and I've also felt that way at times), but buying into that without looking at the other things she's done (or lack thereof) is naive. Ignore the character for a second and think about the things she's done: spies8.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=burg&action=display&thread=772spies8.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=burg&action=display&thread=1039spies8.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=burg&thread=950&page=1#5998 (go to around 12:37AM) How is any of that something that a town player should be doing? As I've said before, I feel like the longer Magalie stays in the game, the less willing people will be to vote for her. I do not think it's too unreasonable for me to think that, since the wagon on her magically disappeared after episode 3. Regardless of craziness, if it acts like a spy, it could be a spy.

Seriously, after this latest 'fake messenger' fiasco, there is no way that you can think that Magalie is a Spy.
You are effectively arguing that Magalie A)faked recieving a fake message from a Spy role, telling her that Tina is the Doctor(nevermind that this would mean that the person whom creates this message just didn't bother to use it on the day that Magalie would have received it), in order to knowingly(and falsely) present herself as a completely petty and spiteful person.
It's ridiculous and virtually impossible. Magalie DEFINTELY did not come up with it on her own, and I am not convinced that someone would go along with their spy teammates promoting such a convoluted plan, especially when it has a good result of getting modkilled anyway.
The alternative, which is that Magalie legitimately received the message in question and was gullible enough to believe it, and spiteful enough to try to 'take the town down with her', is infinitely more believable.
Sam should act against Magalie. The town should not. The likelihood of her being a Spy is miniscule.
If she gets lynched, everyone involved, especially those on the Senate, will become Suspects in my eyes. If she gets lynched and Chance ever actually gets lynched like he deserves and flips Spy, then I will never, ever let anyone that votes Magalie today live it down. Choose your action carefully.

Movie references aside, why on earth would she get modkilled over it?

not to mention that telling sam what he should and should not do in his own game is both ludicrous and the height of arrogance. but if you want to take that stance, magalie has not technically broken any rules. sam has no legal reason to modkill her even if he wanted to.
which makes me wonder why you're advocating to keep someone as clearly anti-town as magalie around.

Lol. I love that you refer to her as 'clearly anti-town' now. Yesterday, you were adamant about having no read on her but just wanting to lynch her for lurking.
Now, it is undeniable that she acted against the best interests of the town with her 'reveal' yesterday. It is also all but undeniable that she is still a citizen, despite having done so. The notion that she pretend to receive a message that was never actually sent is just complete nonsense. That would mean that whichever Spy sends messages chose not to send one that day, just to be able to run this 'gambit' later. It would mean that the Spies gave Magalie a vote while simultaneously assuming that she was going to get lynched(meaning that they wasted their chance to give someone a vote).
The sum of this simply does not add up to magalie being a Spy. I am speaking against her lynch because, as I have said all along, sometimes you have to see past the surface level of things and actually do some analysis. So, did Magalie commit an anti-town act here? Yes, she absolutely did. However, the details of said anti-town act prove that she is town, and is not a viable lynch candidate. It is easy enough for Sam to simply replace her. Lynching her is simply bad.

yesterday she hadn't been a total bitch with her actions regarding tina, which you yourself claim is an 'anti-town' act. so.... yeah this is just more reaching from you.
