Mafia game ideas

I get overly excited around Wimbledon time, and this year it inspired an idea for a mafia game.
Mafia: Tournament.
32 players. In round 1, every player plays 4 games of 8 player Mafia. They are a vanilla citizen in 2 games, a mafia member in 1 game and EITHER a cop OR the first NK.
Points are awarded for the following:
- 3 points if your side wins.
- 2 points extra if you are at the end of the game when your side wins.
- 1 point for every exile survived as a Mafia.
- 1 point for every Mafia member voted as a citizen - note: the mafia member has to be exiled that round for the point to count.
- 1 point as a cop for every correct investigation. These are the ONLY points a cop can be awarded.
- 1 point as the first NK for every correct guess. Each round the first NK is asked to pick one player they believe to be mafia. They are not told of the allignment or if they guessed correctly until the game finishes.
The reason for the cop/first NK is because mathematically, it just works out that:
First round - 16 games.
16 x 2 mafia = all 32 players get to be mafia.
16 x 1 cop = only half the players get to be a cop.
So the first NK allows the other 16 having the same point earning potential (the cop continues to guess even after their own exit from the game).
The top 15 point earners then enter the final mafia game, where it is an old fashioned game.
The game would be interesting as teamwork may be thrown out the window in favour of points (AKA bus another spy to make the last an extra round for extra points). However, that may be a detrimental attitude to have!
I would make it alias because there would be so much metagaming due to every player playing AT LEAST 4 games. At least the metagaming would be based purely on what has happened in the tournament.
Thoughts?
