I dun know how much time I’ve got left here, since already y’all tried t’ send me down the river every single day now. But I’m not writing this with any particular emotion, I’m jus’ going through and saying what I think is the most plausible truth.
I believe that scum is, without a doubt after me, now it’s not that I reckon the cases presented against me holds no merit, rather it was in scum’s best interest to use them in a particular way.
But in doing so scum have created myself as a doubtless witness, one in a perfect spot who views from an enemy’s eyes. No, this is not a confession folks, rather a warning t’ scum, when you use someone as a decoy, be sure that they die, since your group and I are the only ones who know my alignment and you are the only ones who knew Alexei’s.
As a spy ye have three priorities
1. Look like town
2. Keep scum alive
3. Get rid o’ town
Now the priority o’ these three actions sometimes conflict, thus there is room for error depending on the personality o’ the spy.
Enough chatting, I will now present my thoughts on the actions o’ every active member (if y’all haven’t posted enough to be included in my paranoia, shame on you!) in fitting with the three scum tells, this is not an accusation unless I say ‘tis, it is merely a record.
Dane
1. His aggression as a character makes some people say he looks like town, as scum tries t’ blend in, it could also be viewed as a double bluff, t’ make himself appear more active, but either way character personality is ultimately irrelevant. I reckon the fact of the matter is he posts many basic questions, which is beneficial to the town since it gives information, but leads to point three.
2. Not guilty on the Alexei case.
3. His questions seem to inevitably be loaded towards an argument, it gets everything out in the open, while at the same time getting people riled int’ accusing each other, escalating it further than it would have.
Gabriel
1. Keeps an air o’ neutrality in group chat, asks questions, but only weighs in if it looks bad for him not to do so. Mentioned his main case being against Savannah, yet was one of the first to bandwagon Alexei despite initially not having much enthusiasm on his case
2. Not guilty on the Alexei case
3. Doesn’t overtly seem to make cases against people that I notice
Hambone
1. Very friendly guy, don’t chat with a decisive point, and not that I’m one to talk, but seems t’ act like a newbie.
2. Mentions several times how back and forth he was on this, but overall did not try to save Alexei.
3. Now y’all remember this little nail in Alexei’s coffin?
spies8alexei 11:49 am
so even if you aren't spy, citizens will be better off wityhout yo
compare to
[21:31] spies8dane: oh yeah, and hambone
[21:31] spies8dane: i know you hate me
[21:32] spies8dane: but you said you thought I was citizen, correct?
[21:32] spies8hambone: whatever
[21:32] spies8hambone: yes
[21:32] spies8hambone: i think ur an annoying ass citizen
[21:32] spies8dane: k
[21:33] spies8hambone: but at points today i would rather vote you out over a spy
Jenny
1. Q:Is it possible to look any more like a townie than keeping a comprehensive database o’ EVERYTHIN’?
2. A:Maybe if your knowledge of everythin’ somehow don’t allow scum t’ slip right by every day without any opinion.
3. Despite claiming my case only notably suspect because it was weird, she consistently kept her vote immobile.
Nita
1. Not sure about this, I understand what she’s talking about ‘proximately as often as y’all understand what I’m talking ‘bout. Seems to want to appear helpful in making sure everyone’s vote is as logical as possible.
2. Definitely not guilty on this, pushed harder than most on the Alexei case
3. Her accusations make sense, she uses her own judgment to justify them
Rondak
1. Despite being one of the more active folk round here, he’s so passive that around 70% of his contribution is either greeting people, or announcing his action *points finger at rondak*
2. I’d say he did enough of a share in the Alexei case
3. No notable accusations on anyone
Savannah
1. Goes back and forth between friendly and very defensive, it seems ‘bit scummy to me, but I might be biased here
2. Completely shifted suspicion away from Alexei, never seemed to seriously question him being town
3. Revived the bandwagon on me the day of Alexei’s lynch, some controversy early on about her willingness to lynch inactives
Stephanie
1. Not much here, does her own thing and don’t try to fit in too much, understands things her own way
2. Heavily linked to Alexei in the case against Dane, new evidence shows Alexei was entertaining the idea of voting her, the significance of this is in question however I reckon
3. This depends on Dane’s alignment, it’s possible.
Themba
She’s my #1 suspect because out of everyone here she’s the only one who makes all three points connect simultaneously, thus I won’t need to number this entry
Has flipped everywhere, by her dialog I’d say she’s a regular to this series, yet she talks ‘bout no lynches before there’s even a discussion, after a classic revenge vote against Dane, she bandwagons Alexei when it’s obvious he’ll be lynched, stopping to change her vote to me when it seems possible to change the course of the lynch away from the spy Alexei.
Tina
1. Makes sure all her reasons and opinions are knows for every action
2/3. Although she did change her vote to another bandwagon very late, the fact that she is the main reason for an Alexei bandwagon makes it very unlikely she was trying to save him.
Whew, that took a long freaking time t’ gather, but I hope that I’ve effectively checkmated scum.
Ya know why I’m putting m’self on the spot like this? It’s cause if I’m always gonna be the big suspect y’all might as well get as much info out o’ me as possible, even if ye decide t’ abduct me Tuesday, it’ dun matter ‘cause I effectively jus’ made myself a catalyst fer yer defeat.
And if I jus made myself unpopular? I reckon so, but it can’t get worse.
Now y’all remember me as ye want, jus maybe ye’ll think back an’ ‘member the meaning o “Zedekiah” "the Lord is Just"
Oh an t’ end this, my conversation with Themba, if it’s relevant
Day o the exile (sunday) before exile
spies8zedekiah 8:29 pm
Pardon me miss themba, fer the sake of it, as someone who ain't on the bandwagon o' Alexei, what are yer last thoughts 'bout his alignment?
spies8themba 8:34 pm
i think he may well be a spy, but i am unsure. i think you are both possible spies, and it's a 50/50 at the moment as to who i vote for. i vote who i see has the strongest case against them. and now i feel that is you.
Monday
First off, did alexei tell ye anythin bout who he suspected before
being lynched
spies8themba 10:20 pm
nope. never spoke to him once one on one.
spies8zedekiah 10:22 pm
I see, what were yer reasons fer suspectin him so strongly then?
spies8themba 10:22 pm
my main, convincing reason was the group chat where he basically
laid down and died and admitted being maffy.
spies8zedekiah 10:23 pm
I see, so you were quite sure of his quilt then?
*guilt
spies8themba 10:23 pm
doesn't take much more than that for me. he made an odd comment
about lynching dane regardless of alliance, then that he believed
steph's evidence but had no evidence of his own. then we pressed him,
and in the end he just went ok then.
yeah i told him in that chat that i was probably voting for him.
you can reread it to back it up.
spies8zedekiah 10:24 pm
right, so you reckon he was sure t' be scum, yet you changed yer
vote t' me at the last second?
an ye know, ain't nothin' personal, as always, jus tryin t' play the game
