Hi all,
Seeming as every one is offline atm, I thought I'd jot down some thoughts about voting a No Vote in the upcoming Exile. I don't know if this option has been used in previous series of Spies, however I think we should at least consider it, as Sam does nothing without a purpose in this game.
Good things:
1) It doesn't appear that every one has signed in for the game yet, or at least into our Republican pages. If people vote for someone who is away, they may be exiling an important role.
2) There have been a few problems with AIM and there doesn't seem to have been much discussion between Republicans yet. This gives us very little information to work of off, and with Spies amongst us, the chances of voting off a Citizen increase.
3) A No Exile will give us more time to filter information and gather thoughts.
4) The information about those who do not agree and vote a to Exile may come in handy later down the road.
5) Voting someone off who has a role would be the shittest thing to happen in the very first Exile. I would assume those who do have roles will be looking for people they assume to be Citizen to trust and share their information with - this may give them a little bit more time to do just that.
6) It may lull some spies into a false sense of security and they may relax a little.
Bad things:
1) It may be indicative of absolutely nothing in terms of Citizen/Spy alliance.
2) We may miss an opportunity to eliminate a Spy if there is a general agreeance within the group.
3) If every one votes a No Exile, it will not give us an indication of people's alliances further into the game.
4) If people know it's going to be a No Vote, they may decide 'Meh, why scumhunt this Episode?'
I'd like to hear every one's thoughts should they choose to share them.
