This first post is a placeholder. It will eventually be replaced with our summary case and devil's advocate points about Chance should he be our nominee.
Please post your arguments and counterarguments below and over the course of the day we can come up with a concise brief for the Republicans to read in the short time they have for their final votes at Exile tonight.

1. Chance made several incorrect pieces of information A. He made a mess regarding Cory and Tina talking after teams were announced. They talked before. 2. He has focused only on Claude, for the past two episodes. I have not seen much initiative taken by him regarding anyone else in this time period. He has made a large case on Claude, but I am not aware of anyone else on our team that he currently even suspects.
3. He disappeared more or less, after he was made immune and unable to vote last episode. I can see how this combination of evens would be frustrating, but he could have still used the time to gather information. He did not, to my knowledge, do so.

4. His initial attack against Claude was entirely hypocritical. Getting the timing wrong, he attacked me in episode one, believing that Tina and I were talking across teams. Claude latched onto this attack, also suspecting me at the time. Once this was cleared up, Chance attacked Claude for failing to check the facts that he himself screwed up.

Chance has several times, and seemingly intentionally, misinterpreted words and used them to build case momentum. Like when he tried to use words of mine as evidence against Cory and/or to set us against each other. Or when he called me worrisome, ruthless and said "ever notice it all comes back around to Mary?" all on our first day of chats.
I think he's done the same in his Claude case as well.
I feel he tried to single me out as a loner and easy exile day one, trying repeatedly to make me look unpopular and sneaky.
Claude confronted me with Chance's statements that night in group chat and I corrected all of the misstatements Chance had made.
Claude accepted the corrections and dropped the issue, while Broderick was mad at the misrepresenting. Chance defended his misstatements as kind of accurate and continues to do so.
He didn't spyhunt Episode 2 and seemed to be happy watching Margot get exiled.
He asked me to swap votes with him day one and said there's little chance of catching a spy day one so he probably wouldn't vote for people he liked personally.
I have trouble seeing a Citizen protecting Chance from exile.

i did, and i was wrong, and i apologized.
i began to suspect jasmine as well, during the latter half of episode two. currently my list of the democrats is as follows -
citizen - chance leaning citizen - awohali, cinnamyn, cory, gertrude, hambone, nita neutral - allan, jenny, mary leaning spy - magalie, rondak spy - claude
i posted my massive claude case in episode two. i hope that qualifies as 'gathering information'?
this is entirely true. it's also entirely true that i dropped that part of the case soon after once i realized that it didn't make sense. the second part of the same point, where claude's suspicion of tina was entirely double-standard-worthy, still applies.
see above. also, if i was 'happy' about marge being exiled i'd have voted for her.
it's how i saw things at the time. perhaps the way i saw things was in error, but i called it like i saw it at the time. the issue has since been dropped, as far as i know.
well, i didn't. and as i said to mary earlier, 'it's hard to argue against a feeling'.
i fail to see why this is a point of merit.
i never disputed that it could have been a spy protecting me from exile, i don't think. i do think it's possible that it was a citizen.
