About the Accusation System

Unfortunately, with the alias/character system, there has to be a way to make sure that players don't reveal themselves in order to use out-of-game connections to their benefit. This is that system.
If someone knows your true life alias, they have an extra vote they hold over your head for use at any Exile. In addition, any player that deliberately reveals themselves for an in-game benefit will be removed from the game at my discretion.
The accusation system is simple. Inside your confessional you will find a thread entitled "Accusations." Simply post the alias of any other player as a reply to that thread. Give me their character name and something else that identifies them - their real name, their real AIM name, a character they played in a previous Spies, or something similar. Accusations are completely private - no one will know that you accused them whether you are right or wrong.
You can list up to three people per Exile. Please tell me how you found out this alias. Provide evidence if applicable. Example:
Spies character - real name/AIM/online name - how you found them out
Alexander - scott from spies 2 - I can just tell from talking to him
Roberto - villianess999 - his AIM profile was the same as his real screen name
Vanessa - ladyluck from mafiascum - she told me
Leslie - victoroftheworld on greylabrinth - complete guess
Here's how it works. If you have correctly identified a person's alias, you hold an extra vote over their head. At the next Exile they will automatically receive an additional vote at Exile that attributed anonymously. If you are incorrect, I will not add an extra vote and you will not be able to accuse this person again.
Once you use an accuse vote on a person, you can't use it again.
Gossip travels fast in the land of Spies. Even if you confess your true life alias to one trusted person, your alias could slip out. Once it does, that information is out of your control. You could have effectively doubled the amount of votes over your head at Exile. Keep your true life alias to yourself as it states in the rules and you won't have any of these problems.
There have been very little problems with this in the past. This is not in place to be abused. As the game nears the end and this becomes a non-issue, these penalties will be removed. I don't want close votes near the end mucked up with crap like this haha. All penalties are removed at the end of the game at my discretion.
Also, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, please do not inform me in IM or your confessional things like "I think Claudia is really ____ and here's why" or "Susie just said something that made me think she is actually _____ lol, I bet that's her." I really really really really really do not want to hear about gossip revolving around people's aliases lol. It's just not fun for me. Don't tell me about your theories. Just post your accusations in the thread in your confessional entitled "Accusation Area" and be done with it.
Additionally, if others are under the impression that you are who you really are for whatever reason, that does not mean you just give up all pretenses and go "shucks, well they know me I'll just be myself from now on." Deny deny deny! I don't care if you start up a webcam with a picture of your alias as a mask and it falls off you. At no point can you reveal your alias. So many times I've seen people who thought they were discovered, but doubt was still there.
Even if you accidentally post under your real name and everyone is certain is you, still deny. Sometimes people have been discovered and then go "oops! guess the cat's out of the bag!" and then proceed to use their real life alias to gain advantage in the game. That's not acceptable.
I reserve the right to remove anyone from the game if they reveal their alias, at my discretion.
