...That's been pointed out by Owen in his confessional. Of course, Owen doesn't really know what he's onto because he doesn't know for certain who is a spy.
A few spies right now - especially Issac and Laurence, as Owen points out - are being very edgy in their public statements. They're unsure, they're pointing out possible cit explanations of their spy behaviors. Whereas a few citizens, who are perceived strongly as such, are being very forthright and vocal with their suspicions. Often they're convinced they're right, even if they're not.
The spies need to get in on this action. Some of them are being WAY too evasive and non-committal at the moment. Citizens have strong suspicions, weak suspicions, irrational suspicions, emotional suspicions, logical suspicions. Often the same citizen has several at the same time. If the spies can't convincingly fake this, they're going to get caught out.

I am the prime example of this mistake.
Julia is the prime example of a citizen who was onto one person an entire game. She was wrong, but she was a citizen.
I just want to shake Lawrence, he should knowbetter!!

Yeah this is the quintessential Spy disease, I see it in like 3-5 people every season. I used to write up a post emphatically advising spies not to do this, and I think I still do post some of it, but no one listens anyway so I stopped haha.

I think she took it as an 8-step plan on coming clean... Spies Anonymous.
