The first bribe of the game is coming up. It is for the Angel and the Devil.
Each will receive the same bribe, but are not allowed to talk about the bribe unless they both decline.
Basically, the Angel / Devil can be masons, unless someone takes a bribe.
If either of them take the bribe, they won't be masons.
So the Angel could turn it down wanting to meet his friend... but the Devil could accept, and then they still wouldn't be masons and the Angel would be screwed.
Only if they both decline can they be masons.
How much of a price tag do you think I should put on this? Remember for this one I might have to pay it out twice. And that a good ballpark for total bribes over the game is $75 or a bit higher haha. I don't want to say what I was thinking yet because I don't want to taint your opinion. =)
Just to focus, try and think about it from the Angel's perspective. He has no idea who the Devil is, or whether they will accept or not. All he knows is his own choice.

10 USD each. And you may want to put a donate button on the viewer lounge, Sam babe. You need to be rewarded for your... services.

Also, are you going to tell them they are going to meet the Devil (for the Angel) and vice versa? I hope you don't confirm the role alignment in the bribe post.

$10 sounds about right to me as well.

Ten dollars? I'd give 'em seven dollars and tell 'em to be glad for it.

I think it depends on two things. 1. How many bribes there are going to be in the game. 2. What's a price that would make both of them really think about it. Too small of a bribe means they would obviously join forces together without second thought, too high and they'd obviously just take the money.
I'd personally go with somewhere around 6 - 9 dollars for this one. If someone was going to offer me $10+ in a game for free I'd take it without second thought, unless the reward was something really good (ex. investigation).

those are the exact numbers i was thinking! $7.50 or $10 haha. maybe $7.50 because its early in the game, I have to double it, and I don't want to blow my budget on this b/c I have lots of other ideas.

I posted the bribes! This is really interesting haha. Do you think I was dramatic enough? I really don't think they'll take the bribes. I could be totally wrong though. Having a friend in this game is really powerful. Plus I think both of them are pretty pro-citizen. $7.50 is more than a few bucks for sure, but like what can you buy with it really? haha. But I guess we'll see, the tension is the interesting part...

If it were me and passing up the bribe ment a 100% confirmed citizen, I'd take the citizen. I figure I'd spend more than enough time invested in the game to win it, I wouldn't pass something like up for a few dollars. That's not to say I wouldn't pass up a bribe. Just not this one.

Agreed, I'd take a trusted citizen over 7.50.

Agreed, I'd take a trusted citizen over 7.50. Ooooooh. So what you're saying is, you'd sniff at seven dollars and fifty cents? A LOT OF PEOPLE WOULD DO A LOT OF BAD THINGS FOR THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY, SISTAH. TRUST ME, I KNOW.

This is why I wanted to up the ante a bit. We are talking about not only two citizens, but two citizens with (semi) complimentary roles! If they are masons, Chance's role can automatically be activate once Gertrude decides to tunnel onto Chance, in case he can't get votes for himself. Gertrude, on the other hand will be another story. I do not know why she is in trouble this early on! However, Immunizing her from Exile will easily activate her power, but could make her a target for Imprisonment.

I love this! Prisoner's Dilemma - John Nash. I see Gertrude is the Angel, who is the Devil? By the by, did I inspire this with my email those many months ago?
