It's hard trying to be accepted as a replacement of the real Rondak. Still, I didn't come here to be liked by anybody. I'm not the one responsible for them losing a likable character to RL.
Anyhow, from what I have read, getting rid of Chance or Claude could be beneficial for the citizens whether they're spies or not. Maybe breaking their tunneling group will tell us more about the real intentions of either of them.
Claude seems to be focused solely on Chance, whereas Chance only seems to be focused on defending himself. Now, on one group chat someone made a long-shot suggestion that they could be two spies working together to throw everybody off. Now, it could be quite improbable and maybe they're just being themselves and maybe I haven't even talked to an actual spy yet, so I could just try to break their self-propagating loop, and see what reactions occur.

Chance seems to be an important motif in recent conversations. Besides his interaction with Claude, he's been defended by Jenny, which A-Rondak suspected and that never actually defended an actual citizen; he has been shielded by Gertrude, who was rendered immune this episode and was bent on lynching A-Rondak. Finally, Stephanie made a point of thinking that Chance's death could give us more information because it would disrupt some powerful dynamics.
My other suspect would be Owen, first because Chance jumped ahead to defend him when I thought of targeting him. Then there's his record of exiling two spies in a row which seems too good. If Tina was imprisoned for doing too good of a job, why hasn't Owen been imprisoned already?
I think my best strategy right now is to nominate Chance and, if he's just another citizen, at least I'll find allies in his wagon and maybe the spies will start underestimating me.
