Just had some questions for ya about recent events... I do like to hear your opinion, so tell me what you think! 1) What do you think about the recent Societal Collapse twist? Do you trust Owen to make the right decision? 2) Would you want your vote back soon and have more power? When do you think you will get it back? 3) What do you think about the latest Imprisonment and the new information posted in it? 4) If you are a Democrat, would you have voted for Magalie or Themba? Do you think the Republicans made the right decision? 5) Who do you think is likely to be a citizen? 6) What do you think of all the latest role happenings? Thanks for the time to tell me your thoughts, I appreciate it.

Sorry, good Judge, for my lack of, well, everything. Most of it is inexcusable, but the one excuse I have offered as of late (witnessing the near death of a coworker) is absolutely true. I work as a lumberjack over the summer and well, long story short, a really good friend of mine was stuck sixty feet in the air, hanging on to the side of a trunk, slowly slipping down. It was a surreal experience, and I’ve managed to drown most of my thoughts out with various types of inebriation these past few days.
My thoughts concerning the game are, as usual, sparse. I do not think I am a mafia player, plain and simple. I’ve floundered. I’m getting suspicion because I am a pathetic excuse for a citizen. It’s started to be rather embarrassing, admittedly. I log on and I’m met with a few greetings, and then that is usually it. Before the whole work thing happened I was making a concerted effort to be better at these types of things, and I thought I was really improving. This has derailed me a bit.
To catch up with a few things, though:
E2: the Savannah exile/the Gabriel imprisonment – I was never really sold on Savannah being a Spy. The round was so much more cluttered than the Alexei round. The person that really stood out for me this round was Stephanie. Her accusations of Owen, Hambone, and I, backed up by a near- incoherent attempt at logic were laughable at best. Gabriel was pivotal behind the Savannah vote. That Savannah was a citizen, and Gabriel was still imprisoned makes me think that Gabriel either was hot on the trail of some Spies and the Spies were afraid of his capabilities, or that they were simply desperate to get a imprisonment without the doctor interfering. From a cursory look at the chat logs, Gabriel wasn’t really on anyone else’s trail. I think the fact that he wasn’t on anyone else’s trail, yet appeared to be capabable, makes a Gabriel imprisonment advantageous for the Spies. We really cannot learn a lot from his imprisonment, sadly.
E3: the switch/magalie vote – Well, we switched. And it was significantly more overwhelming. I thought I had a decent grasp on what the fuck was going on, and well, yeah. Thanks for throwing that out the window, Sam. The thing that gets me about this round was how odd the Magalie vote was. The main reason behind it, it seems, was that she a.) was not active, i.e. a good scumhunter, and b.) she lied. These could be the benchmarks of a Spy, yes, I guess, but I wasn’t entirely convinced.. that, and the accident that happened at work made me say “fuck it” and just vote no exile along with Nita and throw up the deuces and leave.
E4: the nita imprisonment/hitler twist: well, Nita going is really, really sad. The first time I’ve actually been really torn up about the game so far. She really helped me early on in mafia theory and she ALWAYS encouraged me. I seriously wanted to get better because of her .. and despite her third party role, I think she had my best intentions at heart. As concerning this Hitler twist, I’ve had a gut that Owen was a Spy since early on, so I don’t think it really bodes well for me, lol. Other guts on Spies: Gertrude, Stephanie, Zedekiah, Jenny, and Cinnamyn,
