The game hasn't started yet.
I don't know if I'm a Citizen or a Spy.
That doesn't mean I can't lay out a few strategies and list the goals I plan on accomplishing throughout this game.
First of all, this is not going to be a very social game for me. For those of you who don't know me, I've played in every single Spies game. I've played a few lurkers and a few super active social people... Most of the lurkers were played because I was addicted to World of Warcraft and needed an excuse for not being around on raid nights ; D But, anyway, lets move away from that subject as I don't want to do anything to prompt me to reactivate my account like so many of my friends want me to do!
.....Where was I? I forgot... OH! Oh yeah, characters. So, I've played 7 Spies games before, and I had two super social characters, in Spies 2 and 7. 7? Yes, 7. As in last game. As in I can't repeat that game play two games in a row.
I like to vary everything about myself each and every game. Some games I'm very aggressive, sometimes I'm very hands-off and timid. Some games I'm super social, sometimes I choose one or two people to confide in and hide away from everyone else. Some games I'm very proactive in getting rid of my suspects, sometimes I try not to even reveal who I suspect if I can help it. Some games I'm actively making lots of cases, and sometimes I won't make any at all.
So this game... I want to go for the very active but not very social guy that makes tons of cases but never pushes for anybody. I'm not going to get stuck or hung up on any one person. In fact, I'm making it a rule, right now, that I will not, under any circumstance, vote for the same player two episodes in a row, unless something drastic and undeniable occurs.
Is that a dumb rule? Probably, but I'm a dumb person sometimes, so that's okay!
As far as roleplaying goes, I've been trying to learn Cherokee out of a book for the past two weeks, so I'll be throwing Cherokee words in there every now and then, my oonahlee'e. I don't expect people to ask for translations often, but their presence adds a bit more realness to my character in a way that isn't over the top.
I will not be playing a stereotyped American Indian that speaks like he's living in the 1600's, because, well, it's 2010. I'm pretty sure the Cherokee people have grasped English by now, don't you think?
Anyway, blah blah blah, this confessional has probably bored you. Don't worry, things will get crazy in all due time. They will get very crazy indeed, AND MY CONFESSIONAL MUST BEAT STEVE'S!!!!
