Mary did a fantastic job, we really only figured out she was a Spy when it was too late to matter.
Hambone, you contributed absolutely nothing to your team's victory, so, I'm really not sure what you're celebrating. You survived by nothing more than townies always being a little bit scummier than you.

I'm a Survivor player mainly Claude, I know how to not get targetted and I believe I've proved that by not receiving one vote all game. Take it or leave it, buddy. I had a GREAT GAME Sam, absolutely loved every minute of it!! Thanks for the experience!

Toddler, I'm never forgiving you for your cruel imprisonments.
And don't think these prison bars will stop me from pressing charges for the assault, Hambone! I've already got an old man digging me a tunnel out of this here cell.
Actually, I think you both did great. I never really suspected Hambone at all. And Mary I had up in the Citizen category for a long time.

Toddler, I'm never forgiving you for your cruel imprisonments. Actually, I started out pressing for Imprisonments of inactive and boring players. We mostly started going for better players and roled players because it looked like we had no chance of winning when there was a 7 Citizen alliance with 7 episodes remaining. I hope my Spy partners get lucky with their choice of Gabriel. It seems really risky. Actually, no I don't hope we get lucky. I like Gabriel and he reminds me of little Peter and I hope he gets saved. Fortunately, you guys exiled a couple of players in that alliance to bail us out. In retrospect, we could have left two fun players alive. Also, I only voted to Imprison you because I thought Gertrude would protect you. I was shocked when a protect didn't come through. I hope the Citizens protect Cory from Imprisonment. Even though he is more dangerous than Owen, I enjoy his presence more than Owen's. I liked Owen, but he was an inactive little weasel that episode!

So Gabriel, myself, Lilith, and Tina were inactive and boring players? Own up to your imprisonment choices, Todd. I expect more from you.

Obviously you weren't Imprisoned for being boring. By that point, we realized we were in huge trouble. You would have easily taken out Isaac and probably Cinnamyn if we left you around. But early, yes, I wanted to imprison an inactive instead of Gabriel. Get on AIM!

So you started going for better players and roled players before the 7-citizen alliance formed. That's all I'm saying. Maybe you pushed for an inactive player for the first imprisonment, but you certainly didn't for the rest.
See you AIM.

So you started going for better players and roled players before the 7-citizen alliance formed. That's all I'm saying. Maybe you pushed for an inactive player for the first imprisonment, but you certainly didn't for the rest. Best laid plans... Once Gabriel was saved, we had no choice but to take him. To do otherwise would have allowed him to come forth the next episode and unite all Citizen roleholders. "Hi, I was saved by the Doctor. If anyone counterclaims me, you can exile them. If you are a Citizen with a role, you can now come to me in complete safety." Ergo, instant 8 Citizen alliance. So Gabriel Imprisonment #2 was a no-brainer. And things went from bad to worse as we suddenly faced about 6 "confirmed" Citizens at the next exile: There are six people I probably won't be able to beat in a final 3 exile. Tina, Nita, Allan, the Doctor, and two masons. They'll all have to go sooner or later. Mostly by Imprisonment. We're working on exposing the masons. Obviously, the idea is to walk the fine line between playing "fun" and keeping the game competitive. If we didn't chip away at that list of six immediately, we knew we were giving the game away. We also knew that Claude and a roled exile protector might go to Allan at any time. We thought maybe Jenny had a role and was an 8th member of a Citizen alliance. So unfortunately, we had to nab someone from that list. Tina, Lilith, Owen and Chance were immune. So it really came down to Allan or you. And as far as we knew at the time, he was potentially exileable. Sorry, toots.

Congrats to a game well played to Todd and Hambone!
P.S. Hey, Todd, I didn't wind up suspecting you and sending a detailed message about my suspicions of you to you by accident! I made some progress this game, anyway ; D Besides the fact that I actually needed to suspect you this time through. Damn. Never mind.

Actually, this time, Owen and Gertrude made that mistake. Owen sent Gertrude a PM saying he distrusted me, and Gertrude pasted it into the Citizens Alliance chatroom.
In which I was lounging, sharpening my icepick.
[22:51] spies8gertrude: I just got a PM from Owen. [22:52] spies8gertrude: Hey dear. I'm messaging you to let you know that I'll be away from the game for a few days. I'm sure this will disappoint Broderick completely, causing him deep pain and possibly forcing you all to suck his dick. However, in 100% honesty, this break has to do with my health. [22:52] spies8gertrude: Senate poll: I'm going to go ahead and vote only Chance to get his vote back. Talk this over with the others (Claude/Chance mainly) and see if they have anything else in mind. Otherwise, I'll stick to that.
Senate voting: Topping my list are going to be Dane, Awohali, Broderick, Mary (though you should probably keep that kinda quiet, as I don't to piss her off), Kiara, Jenny. [22:52] spies8mary: Owen's reaction is noted. [22:52] spies8claude: reaction to what [22:52] spies8gertrude: Whoops.

Actually, Cinnamyn did the heavy lifting for our team. She posted cases that got Margot, Awohali and Jenny exiled. AND her case on Kiara and vote on Kiara forced Kiara to claim.
So basically, Cinnamyn was a superstar for the Spies for nine episodes and paid the price. While the rest of us sat back and watched in awe.
Also, if Lawrence hadn't replaced in and gotten himself out from under suspicion Episode 6, he would have been exiled instead of Zed. He managed to last four more episodes and totally confuse the Citizens about who he was partnered with.
Magalie lasted five episodes, which was a minor miracle and way better than expected.
And I think Isaac might have lasted another episode or two if he could have been around to use his power properly and to defend himself. He was a smart guy who never really got a chance to get his footing.
Alexei did a good job of not connecting himself to Hambone, who was the only other Spy on the Republicans. His exile made Dane, Zed and Jenny all look suspicious in various ways, which led eventually to each of their exiles. Could have been a lot worse.

yeah, but the CRUCIAL time for me/us was after zed's exile, and because mary was so awesome at getting information, she was able to inform me that i was 1. in trouble and needed to post a case, and 2. that awohali was getting suspicion. so she tapped out and i went in for awohali and then jenny was soon after at that point.
so it was just as important to have someone who was subtly manipulative and great at getting information and leading us behind the scenes (mary) and someone whose play was very citlike and had no connections with the spies for the endgame (hambone) to round out the team.
