I am sure by this time that Jenny has drawn and quartered Awohali and sliced and diced him. So it is time to make Awohali meatballs! 1 pound Awohali meat, ground 1/2 cup breadcrumbs 1 egg Awohali meat might leave an unpleasant, bitter aftertaste, so I recommend lots of seasoning: 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon red pepper 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional, for greek or italian style) 1 teaspoon dried basil (optional) Mix ingredients, form into golf ball sized balls, place on baking sheet and bake about 15 minutes at 400. I like to keep these in my freezer after baking. Then I can pull out as many as I need and rewarm in sauce or gravy. Marinara sauce (usually out of jar) for spaghetti and meatballs or a meatball sandwich. Brown gravy for salisbury meatballs. Add some cream or sour cream for swedish style meatballs. Barbeque sauce or buffalo wing sauce might be good.
