I am glad in one way because new player (new Lawrence) + allan and zede gone is GOOD for entertainment (well Zed was cool just not confessional wise).
But Allan just sold out the citizen alliance and ruined their protection for 33 dollars and 80 cents.

STUPID ALLAN FUCK LOL. He should've let Dane take it.
But maybe Dane will be better in the game to keep Chance... but no more role circle of life. The citizen alliance is now in great danger.

Definitely a rough turn of events for the citizens. Lawrence's return. Zed exiled, though he wasn't a huge spy threat. And a power role quitting. Things may slowly start to tip back in the favor of the spies soon if this momentum shift keeps up.

Spies know all roles: Play dumb. That shouldn't be difficult for you. Cory is the doctor. Kiara claimed a Mortician role in group chat tonight, so that role is public. Gertrude provides Imprisonment Immunity and is a guaranteed Cit mason with Chance, who is the Exile Immunity person. Claude is the Majority Whip vote-shifting weirdo. Owen is the Dictator who has exiled three Spies. Allan was the Copycat. Savannah was the Citizen Messenger. But we can still do this. Right?

I wish I could have been there at the exile to see it all unfold out live. Darn having to wake up early for work.
I'm sort of surprised of all people Allan took the bribe, seeing he had his role, but I guess it sort of makes sense if you aren't having a great time playing. I don't remember how much it was (like 30$ or something?), but if I was a roleless citizen who felt like they weren't doing much in the game I would have taken it as well.
Excited to see how new Lawrence does and all citizens really need to pick it up because the best ones are going to be getting picked off soon.

In retrospect Zedekiah was a terrific character, just not confessional wise.

What's the deal with Gertrude not wanting to save anyone? What's there to gain from this, or did she actually miss the deadline to save someone? Heh.

Citizen's are so screwed right now. I think their best course of action is to mass-claim, now. And be able to piece the puzzle together on the other players. At this point, they cannot afford to be passive because all of the Spies are picking it up, and supposedly confirmed Citizens are attacking each other. If they somehow put pressure on either Hambone or Cinnamyn, maybe they can make either of them crack.

The problem at the moment is that nobody is really on the right track. A few people suspect Cinnamyn, maybe one or two Lawrence. But they aren't priorities for anyone. Right now it's all about Jenny, Awoholi, Brondak, and others. I think you're right Tonisha. Just mass claim and let everyone in on the secret. It'll stop people like Broderick from going off in the wrong direction and provide relief to Owen. I really hope his condition isn't as bad as it sounds like it is. That sucks for sure and I wouldn't blame him if he did back out of the game.

I dunno about you but I'm loving that the Spies are totally unsuspected atm! It won't last for long though if they do nothing, sit back on their haunches, and don't make cases while they are unsuspected. When they do that mass suspicion will all cascade on them in an episode or two haha.

Hmmmm gotta disagree with you there Sam... most of the suspicions so far have been for suspicious activity, not inactivity. Unless the citizens really start trusting each other, I don't see that changing. Of course, I've been barely following this (sorry) so I'm not exactly the best predictor this game. Nonetheless, I think the spies are in a great position from what I've seen. Now I'm off to check out Hambone's music videos.

Also, looking at recent spies who've been exiled vs. spies who haven't:
- Alexei got himself onto everyone's radar early on, and never got the chance to get off it - Issac and Magalie were blatantly manipulative early on, then (in Issac's case) went quiet once the suspicions started piling on - Same thing with Stone, who was practically invisible for the last two rounds he was in the game (not that he had a choice) - Adrasteia did everything possible to put herself on everyone's radar, with predictable results - Perry was unlucky to have a perceived "slip" that put a lot of people on his radar very early on.
Whereas: - Hambone is everyone's best friend and has basically put himself into a position where he's trusted by all the "minor" cits - Mary was the second one elected to the senate or whatever it is, suggesting a lot of influence there - Vladimir was perceived by many as protected and a super-citizen - Cuddles was the friendly, slightly ineffectual guy that nobody thought of as a possible threat (at least until the round he was eliminated) - Kathie was suspected by many, but nobody but Daria ever considered her worthy of a vote until the very final round.
So you've got a helluva lot of different strategies there, but the common theme is that citizens need a strong reason to vote for somebody. Look how many people suspected Kathie (loads) and how many actually voted for her before the end (one). That's what I learnt from the early Spies games - if you don't give people a reason to vote for you, it doesn't really matter if they suspect you.

Kiara throws away her vote to give Chance his power.
I don't think that the Spies in Spies 7 were the main cause for their victory. The Citizens were stupid, scared and tunneling. If they all listened to Samson, they would have nailed all the Spies.
The Spies in Spies 7 and 8 are totally different. Spies 7 spies were more knit and Spies8 Spies are more independent. I don't think that there is a pattern here. I think the above post is just another post to squeeze in the fallacy that Cuddles was the best spy ever and that he should have never been bussed. Or maybe just giving Cuddles more publicity more than he needs.

Notice I didn't say Cuddles was unsuspected though (although for most of the second half of the game he was), only that he wasn't perceived as a threat. Which is kinda my point: they're two very different things. It's not enough to think someone's a spy, you need a reason to vote them off!

You got voted off, anyhow. And without any of the Spies help in bussing. You already had Tyson as your awesome spy. Deal with it that Cuddles was not the bestest spy. Tyson could probably be, but not Cuddles. He didn't even exile anyone on his own! Tyson is hot, Cuddles was not.
Anywho, Trey might be exiled for the first time in Spies history.

Trey always had a different style playing his games. Remember this was the same person who was playing Delilah and Bruce.

I wasn't voted off through anything I did or didn't do. And let's not even start up that particular debate again. While it was somewhat amusing for Andreas to accuse me of spreading blame like I spread STDs, it's not something I want to happen on a repeated basis. K? Just out of interest... what spy ever did get anyone exiled on their own? Tenchi / Jessica possibly. Otherwise has any spy ever managed this? It'd have to be someone from Spies 5 if so, because nobody from Spies 1, 2, 4, 6 or 7 ever managed it, although Vlad (Dylan) and Jason (Yvette) probably came the closest.

At this current rate I see the spies winning this, as they are very organized with their thoughts, goals, and objectives while the citizens have what seems to be zero organization going on, minus the citizen alliance, which isn't going to last much longer.

If I were in the game, I'd probably be giving Jenny my vote with Cinnamyn a close second. Broderick and Hambone both have decent points against her. She's really gone and dug her own grave at the moment.

If we take one thing away from this episode, it is that we have learned Magalie was right about Brod being gay. Here is my proof Lol. Depends on whether or not she still wields a shanker. Win.

It really seems like everyone in the game and out of the game is stumped at the moment. I noticed that in the loser's lounge, they've been listing off the final four spies. Nobody got more than 1 right and I don't think it's too different for those left in the game too. As much as I want to give credit to the spies for all doing a spectacular job, I'm gonna have to agree with Broderick a bit in that people aren't doing the crap they need to be in order to find spies. If the initial citizen alliance had played things right and Allan not quit, the spies would be in trouble. Instead, everyone, both spies and cits included, minus a few people, have put themselves on cruise control. Even in getting to read confessionals and knowing stuff behind the scenes, not a whole lot is happening at the moment. Maybe the spies have been doing a better job than I give them credit for. They've eliminated most of the big threats and have just left the burg with a collection of non threatening citizens. It's probably a bit of both, but I think this is more of the citizens' doing than the spies. Spies probably deserve to win at this point for the positions they've all put themselves in.
