HamboneMy early pick for the best Citizen over on that team, along with Nita. Seems like he has a good head on his shoulders, which is actually a weird expression, because your head s on your neck, not your shoulders. If your head was on your shoulders, you'd look like a turtle. We should start saying that people have a good head on their neck. So anyway, Hambone seems to have a good head on his neck. I would just like to post this so it gets some extra attention end game.

Cripe Sam, where did you find some of these people? Half of them are borderline psychotic. And of course as a viewer I love it.

I'm glad the spies didn't lose anyone last round, I want this game to get down to the wire. Also like how I think they are setting themselves up pretty well to not be directly connected to one another if someone goes.

And like that situation, I'm never ever ever going to let Trey forget this. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Yuri / Hambone does as a spy actually. If he brings some of his insanity from the last game into his current one, he could easily get to the end practically unsuspected despite being blatantly anti-cit. Unfortunately hardly any spy ever actually does this... look at Georgia / Andreas.

Also I think spies who are wrestlers should stick together.

So Lilith just called out Cinnamyn, Mary, and Magalie as what is wrong with the Democrats. Impressive. Not so impressive, she wants to be replaced thinking she can't catch up. If she does she'll be kicking herself post game. Crazy that she's been least active but has more of a clue than most people in the game.

Kiara decides to check Alexei and Savannah. Both have roles. Ok, so, apparently Savannah claimed a role after the vote deadline passed, so I guess it would be silly to not check her out. The second one is a little trickier. In all reality, right now I think all this is doing is satisfying my own curiosity. Unless you carried the Desk Clerk over to this game too, or it comes out later that someone knew a Citizen claimed a role and voted them anyhow. So I think the second one will be Alexei, because the Spies undoubtedly have roles too. If I can find out that 2 or 3 Spy roles have been eliminated, it makes it more likely any other role claims in the game are Citizens.

To Nita when the forums reopen Sunday morning please: =================================== hey nitttts twenty more minutes of my life ugh. looks like its meeee tonight. O.O i had no idea about allan's role claim until jenny said, so like idk. I tried my best, sorry. hopefully Sam will let me send one more message before exile. idk who is most suspicious but I did send a secret message to Jasmine and she didn't do the thing i asked so she's sketch def ask her about it. my role says stick around after im out, maybe ill get to send messages when im goners who knows. =x ill miss u guys ~Vannah Nita is third party so... if she figures out that this message is fake, maybe she will claim to Mary. I think it would be advantageous for Nita to tell a Spy her role so that they don't waste an Imprisonment on her, not to mention she already "fulfilled" her mission to kill off a spy. Should Citizens or Spies bother killing her on an Exile or Imprisonment?

Ok, Hambone is rapidly becoming my favorite player in the entire game. And it's not just for reasons of spy-wrestler-solidarity. If you'd have told me in Spies 7 that Yuri would be my favorite in Spies 8, I would've laughed in your face.
But here's what I love about Hambone:
1) He's so imaginative, he has a completely unique way of looking at things, and it's serving him well. As a citizen he was less than successful, to say the least. Nobody thought like him (which was probably a fairly good thing for the cits!)
But as a spy, his mindset is perfect. All the stuff that spies do that causes them to be caught out, he's not doing. He's not falling into any of the old traps that spies seem to fall into time and time again. His viewpoint of the game is insane, and it's working for him.
2) He's a complete and utter asshole. By which I mean that while I considered myself ruthless (I didn't, for example, ever consider not imprisoning Henry or Tiffany in past spies games, even though Henry was a legend and Tiff is probably the most universally liked citizen of any Spies game yet) I was never insensitive to the feelings of others. (This is part of what made me such a good spy - twice.)
Hambone is like that, but he takes it further than I ever did. Far from feeling sad that Gabriel is going, but imprisoning him anyway, Hambone loves it. His confessional drips with sociopathic glee. He's got the ruthlessness to do what's right, but he couples that with a streak of truly amoral sadism. This guy would happily dance on the graves of his enemies, and see nothing wrong in doing so. I LOVE THAT.
Have you seen his conversation with Gabriel, Allan, Savannah and Tina? If you haven't, read it. The conversation is awesome, but even more so is Hambone's interjections. Let's just say that this is NOT a humble guy speaking.

He actually says to Gabriels face "YES YES I HAVE TO MAKE A CONFESSIONAL ABOUT THIS" when Gabriel names 4 suspects and none of them are spies. Hambone actually celebrated a mini spy victory right in front of a citizen's face. Hambone <3

As per usual the spies don't listen to the right thing that Mary says regarding bribing Claude.
Also if I was in this game, and I guarantee this (the proof is in my Cinn appreciation thread where I say "I support whichever side Cinn is on) I would be suspecting Cinn by now. She is a by the numbers spy like Vlad. Only Nita is catching on WHEN NITA DOESN'T NEED TO. The fact is that Cinn is boring me and Mary/Hambone/Magalie are exciting me with their methods. Cinn is still exciting in a role player sense.
Also in my opinion Magalie, despite being an exile prediction by me and being saved by other spies - she is still one of the better spies right now.
1) Mary - excellent stuff by Mary, very good balance of suspicious and citizen moves. Bossy as usual which may lose her some pull with fellow spies (AKA she is the one who needs to control bribes, imprisonments and Isaac's role but people don't seem to want to listen). 2) Lamb Chop/Hambone - naturally good at being a spy and a hoot to watch! 3) Magalie - unconventional and seriously bordering on being very bad, but she ends up being very good. Actualyl seems to take direction well, has a great presence in chat rooms and often has hate for players which others take as her tunelling (because tunelling makes you more citizeny). 4) Cinnamyn - entertaining but by-the-numbers. Will get caught out for being too citizeny, just you watch. 5) Lawrence - has got what it takes but is being too meek! 6) Isaac - I can see being the #2 for a few more exiles then BAM, hes gone.

I am getting a little perturbed at the Spies for not discussing things and coming to a group consensus before my generous deadlines. BOO!
I am also praying every day that Nita gets Imprisoned ASAP!!! I hope to god she doesn't win the challenge and get a billion Immunities! Did you see that post she made? She wasn't even trying and picked out all the Spies. ;_; She needs to gooooooooo before she ruins another game lol.

The challenge was super fun though. Why the heck didn't I just make it that picture game and maybe 2 other puzzles and that's the whole thing? What is wrong with me why do I have to make it a 8-part race puzzle??? lol. EIGHT challenges in one! wtf!
The good part though is that most of these were completed before Spies 6 started. It was meant to be part of like a big scavenger hunt thing I mentioned that didn't work out. So at least it's not all new stuff. That's why that picture with the past players on it only covers spies 1-5 haha.

They are so dysfunctional in that sense... somehow they just can't make clear-cut decisions. We are lucky that they followed the numbering system or else there would have been a deadlock. She will. And she will be the only person in Spies history to win this game playing all three alignments.

I think our resident mad Irishman talks sense. Magalie reminds me a little of a more active spies7Kathie. Although come to think of it, I'd swap Hambone and Mary. I can't see Hambone picking up any serious suspicion right now unless he does something SERIOUSLY stupid. Mary, on the other hand, is falling into the trap of going from an out-there cit to a more withdrawn, staid spy who doesn't want to stand out too much. As bizarre as it seems, I'd lay better odds on Yuri/Hambone going the distance than I would Henry/Mary. Is that weird?

What's hilarious is that I think she's throwing shit together to try and come across as a poor player so that the spies don't imprison her. I feel like any spyhunting from her from here on out, she's going to try to keep it flawed to a certain extent to avoid being seen as a threat. Sad part is, or funny depending on how you look at it, even when she's really not hunting for spies, she's nailed pretty much all of them. The only one to have her fooled, and who has fooled I think just about every citizen in the game unbeliveably is Hambone. Who'd have ever thought that one after last season? I love it though. I enjoy having Yuri as a spy. He's fricking fantastic at it.
