Highlight here for the answers:
David Hudson, FINANCIAL EXECUTIVE. Clue 1: This person has previously been self-employed. Clue 2: This person has three daughters and has been involved with coaching their soccer team. My notes: The typical finance executive, even in a female-oriented company like cosmetics, is a successful middle-aged well-educated male with family. This man is dressed fairly formally in a grey shirt, yet not formally enough to be (for example) a politician, nor informally enough to be a professor.
Marie Lerose, MEDIA PRODUCER. Clue 1: This person is a board member for several notable children's charities. Clue 2: This person, although not an actor, has appeared on television many times. My notes: One of the most obvious identities, this image-conscious woman in her late thirties is dressed smartly in business-casual wear. She perfectly matches the stereotype of the TV producer, although I would understand people perhaps thinking politician. I can't see any other possibility.
Ann Carlton, CLASSICAL MUSICIAN. Clue 1: This former beauty contest winner has visited over one hundred countries. Clue 2: This person's life profession was obvious from childhood. My notes: The second clue is a giveaway; only the musician would be likely to start training as a child. Clearly this woman isn't in a physical role, equally obviously she isn't an executive or producer. An image consultant would be very unlikely to travel regularly, so the "beauty contest" note is a red herring.
Joey Shillolo, GYM INSTRUCTOR. Clue 1: This person has worked for his country's armed forces. Clue 2: This person says of his occupation: "I will always be here to help people when they need it, but ultimately it is up to them." My notes: Another really obvious one, the zipped top alone gives it away. Clue 2 practically spells it out, but it shouldn't be needed.
Andre Baker, PROFESSIONAL FIGHTER. Clue 1: This person is a former Olympic Athlete. Clue 2: This person started his own specialist school some years ago. My notes: The second clue is deliberately deceptive, but this is an obvious one: the cauliflower ear and shape of the head show that this man (a professional wrestler and martial artist) has taken some knocks.
Patvakan Bayanduryan, IMAGE CONSULTANT. Clue 1: This person partially credits his success to meditation. Clue 2: This man believes the two most important qualities he possesses are intuition and creativity. My notes: This is tricky, but the second clue helps. Actually a hair stylist, this man is obviously image-conscious. He'd be easily confused with the reality TV star, maybe the doctor, but either hint (the image consultant's gender or No. 6's second clue) should make it clear enough.
Maria Bagyanszki, UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR. Clue 1: This European is a member of two societies but has never been married. Clue 2: This person celebrates her birthday and the New Year together. My notes: Another difficult one, this woman is obviously professional and career-oriented, but not particularly image-conscious, nor is she a physical person. If you can correctly identify the musician as no. 3, the professor is the most obvious profession out of those left.
Dr. Jodie Horton, MEDICAL SPECIALIST. Clue 1: This person describes herself as family oriented, enthusiastic, and a good person to talk to. Clue 2: This person recently received her second honours degree. My notes: The second clue narrows it down a lot, eliminating possibilities like Gym Instructor, Image Consultant and Reality TV Star. She's a bit young to be the professor or media producer, so the medical specialist is the most obvious possibility left.
Nathan Roberts, WINNER OF A REALITY TELEVISION SHOW ("Model Behavior", if you're interested). Clue 1: This person can dance in several different styles. Clue 2: This man is a member of both EQUITY and SAG. My notes: Another fairly obvious male identity, from the style of the picture (a publicity still) to the emphasis in both clues on "talent" rather than academic or physical achievement. It's fairly common for RTV winners to continue in the entertainment field - Ben from "The Mole Australia" became a talk show host, for example.
Elin Jones, GOVERNMENT MINISTER. Clue 1: This person grew up in a rural farming community and says that this affected her choice of career. Clue 2: Before moving to her present profession, this woman was the mayor of a small town. My notes: Both clues make it obvious, although the second is practically a giveaway. Her appearance is somewhat deceiving (she's the shadow minister for Agriculture in the Welsh Assembly Government) but her clearly visible pendant - a ceremonial gift from when she was a mayor - might help.
