As if you couldn't tell, I've been getting more stressed as this goes on. There's nothing I can do about it but vent at this point. After having a nice REGULAR NON-GAME TALK with Claude, I'm thinking that perhaps getting more into the character aspect of the game will lift my spirits a bit. What better way to do that than to bring back PERSONAL RANKINGS THAT HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IMPORTANCE WHATSOEVER? Oh, it's time.
1.
Cory - My homeboy of the game. Unlike that fucking clown, Cory has never given me any reason to doubt him. If he's scum, dude is good, but I don't have any reason to doubt him. He's got a good sense of humor, mad photoshop skillz, and we think similarly.
2.
Gertrude - Exquisite sense of humor. Exquisite youtube video taste. Exquisite taste in BBUK favorites. From a viewers perspective, she'd probably be my favorite with her vulgar wit. What she, Claude, and their darling Elizabeth.0 have is pure unleaded love and everything Cassidy wishes she had with the clown and their army of ginger babies.
3.
Claude - I genuinely like the guy. His lack of wanting to roleplay has made it extremely easy for me to try to talk to him on a more personal level and I definitely appreciate it. Even without the roleplay, I feel like he's a bigger character than a majority of the remaining players. His intensity and being so convinced about things is pure joy, you know, unless he's using his role on me.
4.
Stephanie - Oh, Steph. I really hope that if I do go out, that I go out on a good note with her. She flipped the bitch switch on me tonight and I'd really like to repair any damage that has been done because I really do think she's a nice/hilarious/lovably batshit crazy player. It's bothersome that one of the only people I've really enjoyed seemingly went out of her way to try to make me feel like shit over the first lynching mistake that I've made in quite a while. I get how mafia works, friends one day, suspect them the next -- but some of the things she was saying just seemed unnecessary and spiteful. Other than that, she doesn't say "fuck" enough to be from Jersey.
5.
Jenny - For someone that bothered me so much early on with her lack of stances and opinions, it's impressive that I've grown to like her while she still has a lack of stances and opinions. It shows you that being friendly and seeming sincere about your friendliness can get you places (on my rankings, at least. take what you can get). Pretty sure I know who is behind Jenny, and if so, I know for a fact that he/she (no, not Jasmine) is good people. We talk often and she always treats me with the utmost respect.
6.
Chance - Chance is funny and I genuinely enjoy him, but he's got bitchy streak to him. Not with me (other than when we claimed to Claude without his permission) but definitely with others, mainly those who suspect him. Having to defend him is quite a hassle, but there could definitely be worse people to have to defend without solid reasoning. His relationship with Cory is one of the funnier things going on character wise.
7.
Mary - Her character is epic. The conversations that I had with her when we first were some of my favorite character fluff conversations I've had. Her dry humor is so well done, it's scary. Also scary is the fact that I don't trust her and she knows way too much. We might as well tell the entire fucking Burg, but I digress. One of the top characters in the game.
8.
Hambone - Still convinced that his Survivor player background is a gimmick, which makes me like him even more. Guy might have played Survivor before, but it's so doubtful that he's new to mafia like he tried to make it appear. I'd miss him if he was gone, which is probably more than I can say for the remainder of the people below him here.
9.
Cinnamyn - Great character, but we don't talk at all.
10.
Kiara - Will probably start liking her more now that she knows about everything. Nothing to really dislike about her.
11.
Awohali - I'm having a hard time determining if he's a legitimately nice guy or he's putting on for his character. The way he was subtly talking shit about me me and then being entirely sympathetic when I IM him minutes later makes me question it.
12.
Dane - I don't actually... hate Dane. Surprising, I know. Dane looks for fights, but I think it's part of a strategy. I can dig that. If he's really that confrontational, holy shit.
13.
Jasmine - Didn't enjoy her (?) much when she was around due to her OMGUS personality (read: Cassidy with a penis). Hasn't been around much as of late, but she's (?) got some potential to be a good character if she (?) is around more.
14.
Rondak - I loved talking to original Rondak. We could just shoot the shit and character fluff for entire conversations. New Rondak, we don't talk. And I think the Brondak gimmick is whack. I miss bi-elves and chilling with origarondak in the dragons womb or whatever the fuck it was.
15.
Lawrence - New Lawrence actually seems funny and he actually talks. Interesting concept.
16.
Broderick - I hate when people toss around the word bully. Disagreeing or getting along with someone doesn't make them a bully. A bully is someone that likes to assert their dominance by intimidating/getting a rise out of someone. That is Broderick. Never thought that I would legitimately HATE someone that is a complete alias character to me, but alas, I hate him. We're characters, but he has to realize that we're also actual people playing these characters. Treat them as such. And if he treats people like that normally, I know who to avoid post-game.
This was fun. Kinda, but not really. I think I was enjoying it until I started talking about The Intolerable Hulk.
