Wooooo game start! Wish I could be able to talk to everyone at once when the game starts, but I'll just have to make sure I make friends with enough people early that they'll be willing to talk to me about the ballyhoo over on the other side.

So to all those watching at home, hey there! Real name is David, and those of you from spies7 remember me as "That creepy stalker guy that was always in the chat room" and those of you that were in MMG know me as Hakkeem.
Here's hoping that by the time you read this, it will be after a grand victory for whatever side I'm on.
Still adding everyone to AIM at this point, only halfway through the list. At work right now, so I'm staying invisible. I'd rather not be making bad first impressions by not being around to chat because I'm packing books.

Decided it'd actually be better to get the point across now that I might vanish for a few minutes at a time, just so that it doesn't seem suspicious that I'm doing that after roles go out, so I was on for a little bit. Got to talk to a couple people, and then got called away to pack books for about 2 hours, so that definitely qualifies for "being away for a few minutes" I'd think.
Some nice people around so far at least. Still trying to work out exactly how I want to try to talk to people. Doing a constant accent got to be annoying when I did Hakkeem, so I'd rather not do that if I don't need one. Does leave me figuring out exactly what I want to do, but so far I'm starting to just give people silly nicknames. We'll see how Jenny plays out I guess.

...
WHAT. THE. CRAP.
We just had a fire at work, where I was talking to people in the pubilc room. Apparently, smoke was coming out from one of the tennants that are upstairs, and the police came first to investigate. It turned out the furnace in the basement caused it, so I had to shut down the computers, and finish closing up shop quick before the fire department evatuated us from the building, which they did just 10 minutes ago.
I didn't even get a record of the public chat where Jasmine admitted to being a guy part way through a sex change operation!
WHY DOES LIFE HATE ME ON OPENING DAYS OF MAFIA GAMES SO MUCH. Last time it was a volcano causing us to have a british visitor during opening chat, and now it's a fire! What next, a Tornado?

It was certainly eventful, I'll say that much. No serious damage thankfully, just had a guy come in and out of the basement for the next couple days to take care of the problem.

LOL yes Ross, I know. I just had no idea what he ACTUALLY meant - I wasn't thinking about the theme, but that makes sense.

Poor David, caught in a fire on opening day. I hope I don't read later that you've had another auto accident.

No, I'm still car shopping for my own since, and I didn't manage to crash my sister's at all while going over the leaderboard I had taped to the sun visor thingy with the mirror.
