Figure we can do this round by round for game talk.
It's pretty exciting being able to see people's thoughts play out live. I briefly skimmed through a lot of people's stuff and some thoughts:
- Really excited of the possibility of two Messenger claims later on in this game THAT should be interesting. - Excited to see how Cinnamyn does as a spy. I hope she can avoid being Beverly'd as she said herself. She's already one of my early favourites. - LOVE the angel and devil roles. Those should be really fun to watch. - It's funny how some people jump right out of the gate with confessionals and convo posting and how others haven't even commented in them yet. Makes picking which confessionals to go to first easy! -Also fun to see a lot of other people I know. (Hey offensive people / past players!)
That's it I think for now.

Also, figured I'd ask. Are viewers allowed to join the spies chats whenever to watch like last season? Or only for live events?

I was there in the opening chat but again I just kept talking to a minimum.

You can join chats if you like just please don't say anything at all in them, even if they goad you to talk. Some people act weird when viewers come in. And of course you can come to the live events!

Alright sounds good! I guess I'll dust off the old Apollo and Faith accounts.

Yeah, the worst thing I can do is to put more attention on Cinnamyn just cuz she's my sister and like she might lose the game if people notice her too much.

Small tidbits:
Before the game started I was talking with Gertrude and was looking at her picture / character as an English teacher. I jokingly suggested that as a character trait she should correct other people's spelling when they misspell words. Everytime I see her do that I think it's hilarious haha. That would be so annoying to me!
Claude said this in his application for his cit strategy:
Unmitigated aggression. When people are Spies, rarely are they able to hold up to extreme pressure. Sometimes they can't as Citizens either, and they get killed, but this often results in catching opportunistic Spies also.
I'm reading a chat with the Democrats and he is definitely being aggressive towards Cory. I really like it. Eager to see how he plays it in the future!

After they got played horribly in Spies 7, I'm definitely cheering for the person behind Owen. They already seem to be on the right track with suspicions of Alexie and Hambone. I've only been able to glance at a few confessionals unfortunately so far. Things are too busy out here to keep up regularly. Of course, if I could do that, I'd be playing and not on the sidelines.

I'm rooting for Steve to redeem himself this season as well and he's off to a great start, which I'm sure he'll be happy to see when the game is over. Hopefully he keeps it up. It seems Mary has gotten a lot of citizens suspicious of her. Uh oh. Will be interesting to see if a spy goes round 1 three games in a row. I even sometimes wonder in Spies if that's a bad thing for the citizens. You can't connect dead spies to other spies in the early rounds as they leave virutally no trails.

Alexei isn't doing too well, apparently he got too eager to find a Exile candidate early and jumped on Zedekiah, and might be called out as a Spy right quick. Uhoh!

Agreed about Jasmine! There really seems to be a lot of citizens on the right trail early in this game. Spies need to pick it up I think.
Also, looks like Allan already spilled about his role to Jenny. Really don't know if he'll last long in this game if he's going to tell people so quickly about it. (Mind you Katie lasted like all game so what do I know /pointlessspies5comment.)

Magalie is so weird lol. I'm kind of like worried. I'm always a little worried just because the whole game could be ruined if a Spy just says the names of the other Spies. But Magalie is a little kookoo so I'm worried on that front.
I had no idea she would act like this and I don't think it's a character thing lol. I talked to the lady playing her, "Angelah" (does anyone know them?) She said she used to play Survivor / BB like three years ago. Anyway Angelah seemed pretty nice + friendly + normal. Not like this lol.
If she stays relatively sane I think she will be hilarious to watch hahaha.

And why does my sistah roleplay in her cunfeshunulz? It's just so weird! We talked about this last night and like she said I'm like some dumb whore bcuz I'm like messing with her sizzling spy strategy or something but that doesn't make sence in a confeshunul!

Oh my Sarah Roemer, Claude is acting like Yuri from last game. I've yet to even talk to him one on one, but his posts and people's descriptions of his actions reek of Yuri's fetid stench. I don't care if he's him or not, that's not the point of this post. The point is, I will not allow any horrendously illogical Citizens to make it deep in this game, if I have any say whatsoever. Also, I apologize for being an inactive mofo so far, I shall be in as often as possible This struck me as pretty darn funny. Mainly because I'm pretty sure someone else in another confessional thought that Claude was being played by Otto/Kiersten/Vlad. I can't think of two people who are more opposite of one another. It probably isn't either of them, especially with his empty confessional. Whoever Vlad/Brian is playing, he's doing a much better job of hiding it. Even with reading confessionals I'm not sure who he is yet.

I think the best person the spies could imprison at this point is Chance. The dude is on to pretty much every one of the spies on his team but Isaac, or at least more leery of them than other people. Dude's on a role right now. If he gains a little respect by the rest of the town and isn't lynched early, the spies need to watch out for him.

That's is so ironic about his situation. He is so suspected by citizens but he is onto the Spies. Maybe this is actually helping him in his game as the Devil. I do think still that the best Imprisonment for this stage of the game is just some weird imprisonment. I would probably agree with Alexei's logic on this one. Because of this, Jenny or Stephanie I think would be good targets. Jenny because many people trust her and share information with her, and Stephanie because that could put blame on Dane. Either way, it all depends on me. Steph is probably a great choice.

yawn at everyone in the game (esp. spies 7 only folks) commenting in their confessionals about how they know blah blah is blah blah.
i think i've read exactly two correct suspicions. everyone else is: "omg... im so sure ____ is ____ from last game! haha i got you!" *secretly has egg on face*

If I were Alexei at this point in time, I'd be in "screw shit up" mode. Instead of rolling over and dying, I'd be looking to create as much chaos as freakin possible. He's too much of a nice guy to do that though it seems like. But honestly, if you're a spy going down in flames in the first round, claim something. Make up a BS role or do SOMETHING. Hell, claim Doctor. Everyone knows there is one. That would screw with everyone's head. Worst case scenario, he still gets exiled. Better case scenario, it draws out the real doctor/other roles or it keeps him alive for one more round. He probably wouldn't survive after that, but DO SOMETHING! He can't make things worse at this point than they are. Take chances. Make mistakes. Get messy!

Compare his activity in episode 1 to Julia's activity in episode 1. I mean, he had a Grand Master Plan from the get-go last time.

There is very little you can do to "improve" the game of a spy who's decided to play badly. (There speaks one who tried.)
Personally, I'm rooting for Hambone to throw him under the bus.
Dammit, I can't even think of that name without giggling...
