Gert, I seem to see a lot of people posting, but not contributing much. Hambone, once again, is the champion at it. That's a good point, Steph. When I first read Hambone's comment about having a gut feeling about Owen, I thought he was being sincere, but it looks like it was just a joke. I roll my eyes all the time, sista. Truth. I'd argue that it doesn't help very much, but it's true. I'm actually putting forth the effort to hunt for scum in this game, and your vote for me looks like you want to stop that from happening. That, coupled with the fact that it's a vote for someone who already has a vote and you have no reasoning for it, makes me think you're trying to start a bandwagon. Anyone who reads Hambone's confessionals or posts on the Spies HQ board knows that he was just acting dumb for the entire game, avoiding suspicion by being eccentric and eclectic. He's doing the same here, and it does not sit right with me. So, with that said, I'm switching my vote to Hambone, and I urge the rest of the town to vote for him as well.

Now hambone, my first vote was basically random to get this party started along with discussion. Thus I didn't really need a reason (but still gave one [kinda]). Why would you just hop on my vote without a reason?

Vote Tally
Gertrude (2) - Dane, Hambone Savannah (1) - Spies1Gerta/Sisqo Hambone (1) - Gertrude
Not voting: Savannah, Chance, Lawrence, Gabriel, Owen, Stephanie, Magalie, Kiara.
With 12 players alive, it takes 7 votes to lynch
FYI. Votes are easier to spot if they are in bold.
Day One ends tomorrow @ 11pm PDT / 2am EDT / 7am GMT

Why would you just hop on my vote without a reason? I was thinking the same exact thing. Then I realized this is YURI we're talking about. Logic goes out the window.

Hambone's vote oddity crossed my mind as well (hi guys). But Gertrude doesn't sit right for me either - she voted Stephanie for "posting and not contributing", so I wonder - I'd only posted once at that point, and mine was arguably less of anything than Stephanie's, so why choose Stephanie for a vote over me?
Will more likely vote Hambone over Gertrude at this point, but holding my vote for now.

Oh, well that was before discussion had started.

The only "discussion" that had happened before Stephanie's post was you asking Dane about his vote. Since he hadn't answered (and still hasn't, has he?) yet, I would submit that discussion actually hadn't started yet. Plus the fact that that was Stephanie's first post of the game, basically "Hi guys I'm here", so... I don't think that explanation flies in this case.

Okay, so maybe discussion wasn't the best of terms, but there had been gameplay. Dane had voted, Cisqo and Savannah had their little... thing? The votes had been tallied by our lovely hostess, and she had clarified a game mechanic for me.
Steph then entered, restating something that had already been posted directly before her, and made a joke. That's it. I would expect her to have something to contribute, as she's known for having her "crazy" theories.
But, aside from that, it wasn't a vote I was planning on keeping up there, unless she reacted in a wild manor. Her response, which essentially is your argument, that is, "but there are other people who fit that category, too!" is a valid one. It's a bit Margot/Gerty (that is to say, she tried to deflect the suspicion), but Margot and I were both Citizens, so I'm not holding it against her. FOR NOW.

Good point on the Stephanie thing, Lucky. There are others, including myself, that didn't really offer too much in their posts. I see Gert has explained herself on this -- I'm keeping an eye on you, and your little robot daughter too.
Question for mods: will Gabey-poo be replaced if he continues to be inactive?

...But, aside from that, it wasn't a vote I was planning on keeping up there, unless she reacted in a wild manor. I keep trying to find inconsistencies with the way people played earlier. Surely, Gert, the English teacher, meant to say unless I reacted in a wild manner, not that I might be reacting a wild, large, country house. Hambone's vote, early and without any reason given, seems to me inconsistent with HamboneSpy, but does remind me of Yuri. Chance, now that he has pointed it out himself, did seem oddly quiet early on. But he has picked up. And the comment I made earlier about Savannah's eyeroll wasn't that I found her eyeroll inconsistent, just that I thought she would have had something more to say. But then she did have more to say about it later on.

I know Gertrude already kind of touched upon this point, but honestly, Hambone is the lynch for today.
Pretty much everyone here knows that he was terrible for the Citizens during Spies 7, and those same reasons led to him being a great asset to the Spies in Spies 8. No matter what, with Hambone playing, we are boned.
Vote: Hambone

I'm not sure I can get behind a Hammy lynch right now, especially like this. Stephanie brought up a good point: "Hambone's vote, early and without any reason given, seems to me inconsistent with HamboneSpy, but does remind me of Yuri."
I concur with that.
The amount of people piling onto him this quickly concerns me, even if he did say that he wants out.

Because I don't hate you. You're just misunderstood. The sweetest bitch you'll ever meet. I'm not really diggin' any of the choices right now if it's between Hammy and Gert. Randomly accusing people without reasoning = Hammy's town game. Then with Gert, I feel like she's been one of the only proactive ones so far. I wish I had an alternate option to offer up, but I'm so unsure about everything. I'd probably be inclined to vote somebody who jumped on the Hammy wagon quickly.
