IMPRISONMENT 3 At last Imprisonment, the doctor miraculously saved one of you right off the bat, giving you another five days in the game to make an impact. Will someone be as lucky tonight? Will another player be Saved?
If they are, then everyone will be able to participate in The Power Puzzle Race! Instructions have already been posted on this team challenge which starts at 8:00 PM CDT on Monday (tonight!). You may wish to get in a chat room and start preparing your team for the first part of the challenge. I will post instructions immediately following Imprisonment at around 7:45 PM CDT.
As it states in that post, although both teams will be voting as normal, only one person will ultimately be Exiled. The team that wins the challenge will make that decision. They will vote immediately after votes are tallied live as to which of the two players with the most votes (one from each team) will be Exiled. If you don’t think you are going to make chat, please state beforehand which you would prefer voting for, either the one from your team or the one from the other team. To make sure you get to know people and can judge them, you will be allowed time at live Exile to discuss the options. You can also discuss people with your teammates beforehand if you wish.
Additionally up for grabs are some Immunities from Imprisonment and an ultimate power. Of course, as they say, with absolute power comes absolute responsibility. I wonder who will end up with such a charge and what they will do with it… SAFE: VULNERABLE:

These worrisome thoughts were the last thing two listless workers at the Capitol had on their mind. Even the usually-enthralling tournament of competitive thumb-twiddling failed to hold their attention. Bored, Tina crumpled up an ‘urgent memo’ lying on the desk next to hers. She threw it at the back of Zedekiah’s head, sending him lurching forward, smashing the huge house of cards he was building with someone else’s business cards.
This was the latest volley in the playful war Tina and Zedekiah had been fighting in throughout the office all day. Trash cans filled with paper were turned over, emptied for ammo in the form of paper airplanes. Paper clips had been hurled across the room and rubber bands soon followed. The two projectiles had yet to be combined but it was only a matter of time. These miscreants were having a blast fighting a battle with office supplies.
Not everyone had the time to engage in such childlike activities. As the worker’s war continued, Tina ducked to avoid an incoming rubber band. The elastic projectile ricocheted off the metal behind her and came straight at Awohali, snapping him in the back of the neck. Grimacing and rubbing his neck, he turned to see what all the commotion was about this time.

Jenny and Awohali had been trying fruitlessly to get their work done amidst the flying projectiles. But as soon as they were inadvertently struck, both picked up a straw and some tissue and entered the war themselves. More office supplies flew through the air as the remainder of the office quickly became a mess of spitballs, staples, rubber bands, paper clips, and stray paper.
Awohali picked up a flexible, plastic, spiral cylinder that was used to bind pieces of paper together into a booklet. Shouting “En garde!” he began swinging his newfound weapon at Tina, who quickly armed herself as well and began to parry. The mock battle took the two out of the cubicle and down the hall. Engaged in their little battle, neither noticed the two more mature coworkers coming around the corner. Claude and Kiara quickly stopped as they sent disapproving glares at the child’s play. Side-stepping the two, Awohali and Tina continued their fencing match.
Claude and Kiara continued walking to see that yet another all-out war had hit the office like a hurricane. This wasn’t the first time they had clean up after rambunctious co-workers. With the end of the day approaching and the current office state, it was clear that no more work would be accomplished today.

“Since you four are so fond of throwing crap into giant piles of junk,” said Kiara. “Why don’t you accompany us to the junkyard tonight? We’re heading over there to look for possible clues. Who knows what the Spies might have thrown away?”
“That’s the dumbest idea I’ve heard since the Spice Girls’ reunion tour.” Tina responded. “But I suppose it couldn’t hurt.”
The six agreed and left the office early to head over to the junkyard. It was a gigantic junkyard just like you’d see in the movie “The Brave Little Toaster.” Twenty foot piles of metal rose above smaller hills of junk. Trashed cars and discarded electronics were stacked upon each other like giant graham crackers thirty feet high. There were even stacks of rusting trains piled up in the middle of the junkyard. Each train compartment was eight feet across, ten feet high, and thirty feet long. The pile of them lay haphazardly against and on top of each other like a gigantic piece of art. It was awe-inspiring. SAFE: VULNERABLE:

Claude, Jenny, Tina, Zedekiah, Awohali, and Kiara began to spread out and carefully climb through the wreckage to search for clues. Walking amongst the gigantic piles of trash, they began to dig into open containers on the edges. Tina pulled up her dress pants and began to rummage through a pile of garbage, looking for anything interesting. Awohali poked through piles of electronics, hoping to find something that maybe still worked. Kiara kicked around a bunch of papers, seeing if any noteworthy words caught her eye.
Suddenly, a loud humming noise was heard in the distance. It sounded as if something had just been turned on. Like a large, rusty, old machine has just been revved up. The noise got louder and louder.
Zedekiah pointed to the sky. Shocked, he gestured towards a gigantic mechanical arm in the sky that loomed over the junkyard. Attached the crane-like arm like a wrecking ball was a thick, magnetic disk. It was a crane-like contraptions used to move huge hunks of junk around. The magnetic tower slowly rotated towards the six hapless people standing amongst mountains of metal. The supermagnet descended slowly and surely, as it approaches its intended target.

Belt buckles, keys, watches, and earrings were ripped from their owners as the supermagnet sucked up all metal in its path.
The members of the Burg attempted to run, climbing, tripping, and bungling over the trash, but the magnetic arm came inexorably closer. It descended fatefully towards one of the group. Slowly but surely it drops, homing in straight on its prey…
Gabriel has been Imprisoned by the Spies.
You will never see him again. [/b][/center] Gabriel : please post Final Words in your confessional immediately. Judge Sam: “It’s sad to see you go Gabriel. I know a lot of people, including myself, will miss having you play. I enjoyed your enthusiasm for the game, zeal to catch Spies, and the thoughts you posted in your confessional. It was really great having you and it sucks to see you go at this time. Best of luck to you in future games.” Judge Sam: “The first of many to be Imprisoned has just left us. Let’s take a second to remember Gabriel. Second over! It’s now time to get ready for the first part of The Power Puzzle Race. New, private forums for each team to strategize in will be made available shortly. Within the next 15 minutes, instructions on the first part of the challenge will be posted. Recall that the first part of the challenge requires Paint or a picture editing program, so if you aren't familiar with one, become so quickly. Don’t change the channel, there’s still lots of excitement on Spies tonight! Of course, there is always the ever-present loom of Exile hanging over our heads. Live Exile, and votes, will be due at 10:00 PM CDT Thursday night. That’s three days from now, so there’s still plenty of time at the moment. Be sure to talk about who you want to Exile while you are participating in the Race, as that is most assuredly more important in the end. Good luck on the Race!
