Case on Alexei

My reasoning for the Alexei vote

During the Zek questioning, I had noticed that Alexei was in the room, apparently following along with the conversation, but actually saying nothing. With a question to him we get this from a trimmed down group chat.

spies8tina (6:23:57 PM): Alexei, what is your thought on all this?
spies8alexei (6:24:18 PM): I think there is no reson for him not to talk, judging by what I heard
spies8alexei (6:24:44 PM): gabe, your thoughts?
spies8tina (6:24:48 PM): So you think he is telling the truth about deciding to do other stuff?
spies8tina (6:24:56 PM): Or you think he is making up a night?
spies8alexei (6:25:16 PM): either way, I think it's suspicious
spies8alexei (6:25:41 PM): I'm saying I believe him, but there is no reason not to talk to us

After starting out with a completely neutral response to his thoughts, he decides to say that it is suspicious of Zek for explaining it the way he is. He also says that he believes him, which defetes the purpose of it being suspicious, unless he really thinks that Zek is a spy who decided to go play games.

spies8alexei (4:43:27 PM): ok, so, now that I have my reference and what I said is in context, I think it was suspicious because of the way he said the story, not the story itself
spies8tina (4:44:22 PM): If you believe it though how can it be suspicious? Are you saying that it was more likely that a spy decided to go play some online game than town?
spies8alexei (4:45:23 PM): no, I'm saying I believe his story, but the way he told it is what made me suspicious

Again, he is saying that even though it has no real influence on the alignment of Zek, the way he told a story is still suspicious. Up to this point I still have not found anything from him that was clear reasoning for a Zek suspicion.

He claims that he left that group chat thinking that Zek was a spy, and a chat with him later changed it. I have a few excpets of the chat, but to me it seems like a whole lot of what already occured, with him just coming to the opposite conclusion. At this point though, he appears to thinks Zek is neutral or a citizen.

spies8tina (4:56:16 PM): One other thing. Why after I asked you thoughts, did you pass that question off the Gabriel without really answering it in a conclusive manner.

spies8tina (4:56:53 PM): I guess I could have been more specific on alignment thoughts, but that really was a big nothing response.
spies8alexei (4:57:22 PM): that was because you sent that while I was typing
spies8alexei (4:57:36 PM): after I saw it afterwards, I answered
spies8alexei (4:57:50 PM): nevermind
spies8alexei (4:58:19 PM): I tossed it to Gabe because I was under the impression that EVERYONE would state their thoughts, not just me

After more pressure on the inital response to "thoughts" we got that. Apart from the obvious, and quickly recended, lie of him not seeing my question. It brings up the point of why he thought that what he said was enough, and also why after a one liner that was in the middle of a fairly large conversation, he decided to pass it on to another.
